My Philosophy on Music

By traditional definition, music is the art of organized sound. But it is much more than that. For me, music is an aural reflection of human emotion. When we hear a piece of music, we are affected by how it makes us feel. Music is often describe by adjectives: happy, sad, adventurous, poignant, grandiose, romantic, and so on. Music makes a very specific impression on our psyche, and can stay with us long after the music has finished playing.

I tend to specialize in writing romance and adventure themes, utilizing the many colors of a symphony orchestra to help define the mood of a piece.
